Coaches and atheltes from Middleton High in Wisconsin join DyeStat editor Doug Binder to talk about this weekend's Alternate Season State Cross Country Championships at Blackhawk Golf Course in Janesville, Wis. Middleton was one of the dozens of schools unable to compete in cross country last fall because its school district wasn't allowing schools to open or sports to proceed becuase of the COVID-19 crisis. Junior Lauren Pansegrau and Bella Chirafisi lead the girls team into action on Saturday as the favorites to win the team title and then both are going to drive to Illinois to compete at the Palatine Distance Night meet. Griffin Ward and Ryan Schollmeyer will lead the boys team into the championship cross country race and will begin their track seasons next Tuesday.
